8. Automated Decision-Making

KURIO uses automated systems to provide certain features, including personalized content recommendations, KURIO DNA reader profiles, and XP calculations. These automated processes are based on your reading history, quiz results, and engagement patterns. No automated decision-making on KURIO produces legal effects or similarly significant effects on you. You may opt out of personalized recommendations by adjusting your privacy settings in your profile.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission, secure authentication mechanisms, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active. You may delete your account at any time through the profile settings page. Upon account deletion, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently removed. This action is irreversible.

Even after account deletion, we may retain anonymized and aggregated statistical data for analytical purposes.

11. Children's Privacy

KURIO is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take immediate steps to delete it.
